Paul Weeks will be at the helm for the FA Cup First Qualifying Round tie against Yate Town on Saturday, but that will be the last match under the 'Weeks' regime at FTL Futbol Hellenic League Premier Division Almondsbury Town.
Weeks and Steve Peters have been appointed as the new managerial team at Zamaretto League Division One South & West club Cinderford Town.
Weeks` previous clubs as a player include QPR, Yate Town, Radstock Town, Corsham Town and Bitton and three successful years in goal for Cinderford.
Weeks was appointed as manager of Almondsbury in 2005 and has achieved fifth, fourth and second-placed finishes in his three full seasons with the club.
They have also appeared in three cup finals under his tenure and that includes last season’s cup win.
Peters` previous clubs as a player include Southampton, Torquay United, Tiverton Town and Yate Town and lastly his beloved Bristol Rovers.
He was appointed assistant-manager to Weeks in 2008 and has also achieved a UEFA `B` coaching badge.
Cinderford director Stuart Tait said the pair, who were interviewed alongside caretaker-manager Chris Parsons for the post, were the stand out candidates to take over from Mike Davis.
"The guys have the best background for the job here.
"They have existing management experience at the top end of the Hellenic League which is not too different to the lower end of the Southern League.
"They have guided Almondsbury to fifth, fourth and second in the Hellenic League and also won the League cup last year.
"Both have experience of the local non-League scene and at 37 and 30 have enthusiasm for the job."
