Let's not get too carried away with all this. IT'S JUST A LITTLE FUN Some people like it and some people clearly don't. You have to remember that there are only so many people on this forum. We all know who they are and MOST of these have used or do use, multiple postings. THAT IS A FACT - no point in denying it.. We all have our opinions who they might be or not be, but nothing can be proven because we are not sat at the PC with them. I feel sure that if everyone knew who everybody is pretending to be, there would be quite a lot of surprises.

No one is calling anyone a liar. If someone says they are not a certain person then they are not. That's what we have to accept. There is no harm being done (at the moment) and the forum is well monitored by Danny. The bottom line is that no-one will admit to anything because it cannot be proven.

Just depends on what you all want. if you want a little fun, then OK - I like it. if however, it's not what you want, then ask the Administrator to take off the unwanted posts and the forum will become quite dead. Today is a good case in point. Mangos have no game and there is nothing really happening, so there is nothing to talk about. So some are having a little fun.

I'm all for a bit of fun and a wind up Bob, but when I say I only post under my own name (on here and all the other forums that I post on) then that is the simple truth.

In the past I could have easily expressed some of my views by posting under a different name (and therefore not kopping some of the stick that I may have had for expressing such views) but thats not what I choose to do.

If I have something to say I'll stick MY name to it.

Anyway, that's me on the subject.

Point taken, Danny, but there's no need to be quite so shirty about it all. But I'll tell you what, you'd make a great civil servant! You have all the qualities needed.

As for the line "I won't lose any sleep over your opinions", well, that's REALLY welcoming as a webmaster for anyone looking in, thinking, "Hmm, I may just join this forum, they're having some fun." Bearing in mind also that as I post a lot, lot more on here compared to the rest of them, well, perhaps I'll remember that the next time I do post, which like you, as you say, is always under my own name as well and not some hide-behind nickname(s).

I've been to a game, so has he and so have some other Mango fans as they were at Ironmould Lane as well. No doubt other people went to other games. All this started because of the usual wind-up merchant or merchants kicking off the other day.

But the next time I sell a few Golden Goal tickets to stand in for someone else, then I'll make sure certain individuals aren't watching me as I'm doing it because it was obvious to me that is how two and two got put together in the first place - they were in the right place at the right time and knew exactly what was what - despite the usual, expected denial afterwards.

There, and that's my opinion - for what it's worth, which is probably not much.

I'm that rare breed that has admitted to other characters when caught out. Therefore I open myself up to being accused of being the characters that others on here make up. I'm a patsy. I know for a fact that with the exception of Dave S, every regular poster on here has at times posted under a different name(s).

I have to admit I made an error. Every regular poster with the exception of Dave S and EdP.
As for knowing for a fact, I cannot betray confidences.
This is not a big issue, I can cope with being a patsy there are far worse things that happen at sea. You do a good job for the club Danny, but everyone knows - but don't post it on here - that you needed to boost posting figures and shall we say took a leaf out of Harry Enfield's book. By boosting the posting figures you saved the Mango forum, that is to be commended.
Also, going back many years to a previous Mango forum, when I posted as Merthyr Magic and HOC I very nearly once made the mistake of not changing the name of MM to HOC as I was about to post as HOC. I just spotted my error in the nick of time. You see on that forum it automatically used the name the poster had last used to post. I had previously donew a post by MM.
Well, on one occasion you 'accidentally' posted some info about the club as Danny West but the name 'annoymous' appeared as the poster. There was no other way that name could have accidentally appeared on the forum without you having used it before. That's modern tech for you. Sure enough there had been previous posts by 'annonymous'. It was pointed out to you but you stated that it was an accident.
From that moment onwards I knew you were a fellow of the institute of WUMs. Some deny it, but it is better for the soul to out oneself.
I won't comment on Daveyboy or Mango Man. Like I've stated, at times you've needed to be somewhat inventive to keep the forum going and that is appreciated.

Believe what you like HOC, as stated previously I have never deliberatley posted as anybody other than Danny West.

On the forum which you refer to on which you stated that I posted as "anonymous" let me advise you that if you didn't enter a username on your posting you would appear as "anonymous". That was a problem with the old type of forums, numerous people would post as "anonymous".

As for the reference to Mango Man and Daveyboy and posting to keep the forum going that is laughable, this is a forum, if people choose not to post on here then so be it, I really don't care that much, certainly not enough to make numerous postings under an assumed name, that really is sad.

Feel to free to reply, but that really is me on this subject, its been covered many times before on here and other previous Mango Mouth forums. People can choose to believe what they like.

Fair points Danny. I accept your explanation with regards to the old forum. I would only state that it automatically placed the username in the post, perhaps if one had never posted before it would come up as 'annonymous', but obviously you had posted loads of times as Danny West, so it would've automatically come up as that name. Anyway, it's not the crime of the century. We are all brothers under the same sun.
I am only voicing what others don't. This forum has a sort of star chamber and such issues are debated and decisions reached. You do a magnificent job on the whole and I have no intention of rocking any boats. The accusations were aimed at me and I thank you for allowing me to deny that I am either Greganite or Veracocha.
Obviously I cannot divulge info I am party to otherwise I will become an ex-star chamber member. But it is safe for me to state that I know more than most about identities on here. The star chamber sorts all that out. I can safely say, for instance, that in the past year I have only come on as two characters: HOC and Count Pollen. CP was sussed so couldn't be bothered with him anymore. However, in that time one member of the SC has come on as at least 4 different characters!!! He has not been sussed. I admire this man. He is the modern day Odysseus. He assures me, btw, that he is not Greganite. Greganite therefore appears to be legit.
The modern day Odysseus knows who he is. There are all sorts of things I know but can't divulge.
