Taunton Town will remain in the British Gas Business Football League South & West Division after Winchester City's appeal against a three point deduction and £1,300 fine for fielding an ineligible player was rejected, had the appeal been successful and the three points given back to Winchester then Taunton Town would have finished in the relegation zone.

Well, Taunton staying put is another reason why I hope (fingers crossed) that we end up in the South-West Division, where we can have some decent local derbies against the likes of Taunton, Bridgwater, Paulton, Frome & hopefully Yate as well, not forgetting some of the southern-based sides like Gosport & the bizarrely-named VTFC.

I suppose we'll know for sure in the next day or so, but please, FA & SL bosses, I/WE DON'T WANT THE MIDLAND DIVISION!
